- Who leads from the front instead of pushing his employees from the rear.
- Who does not expect his employees to do things which he himself is totally incapable of doing.
- Who balances the needs of the company with that of his employees.
- Who celebrates his company’s success with all his employees.
- When push comes to shove, and retrenchment is unavoidable due to the company’s poor performance for whatever reason, he is always fair to employees chosen for retrenchment and provides adequate redundancy payment to them for their many years of loyal service.
Needless to say, such Bosses are hard to find, but employees would always go the extra mile for them. Companies with such bosses are almost unlikely to falter even during challenging times
